GunjanShruti Jewellery is born out of a deeply nurtured and mutually inspiring relationship that we share with our discerning clients patrons of fine objects of art.The maison is the labour of love of two sisters, two diverse personalities, who live and work in the vastly different metropolises of Mumbai and Florence. Gunjan and Shruti are united by their uncompromising passion for creating only the best jewels.SHRUTI AGRAWALFrom a very early age Shruti was enthralled by fashion and design. She trained at India’s best school, studying fashion design followed by jewellery design. Her exceptional talent won her two scholarship prizes at the De Beers Bright Sparks Design Contest India, 2000. Soon after driven by a passionate desire to create customized, one-off fine jewellery pieces for the modern Indian woman, Shruti set up GunjanShruti Jewellery in Mumbai. In 2010 Shruti moved to Florence, Italy where she currently lives and works, bringing 15 years of experience to her role as designer and creative head of GunjanShruti Jewellery.
GUNJAN AGRAWALHaving begun her career as an interior designer Gunjan has always been drawn to colours, textures and forms. For over 10 years she ran a very successful, independent interior design practice. In 2007 fascinated by the jewellery world she joined her sister Shruti at GunjanShruti Jewellery. Gunjan is a trained expert gemologist, with a keen eye and an enthusiasm for gemstones having studied jewellery design and manufacture at ‘Le Arti Orafe’ in Florence. Gunjan oversees the purchase of stones, production and client servicing from the Mumbai office.
